Why Democracy is dead
So only about 59,000 of 675,000 residents (9%!) voted in the City State’s Attorney election. The same percentage voted in the County Executive race. In D.C., barely 20% voted in a major mayoral election. I’m sure it’s no different in local elections across the country.
